University of Charleston School of Pharmacy Associate Professor Dr. Krista Capehart has been awarded a fellowship with the Salzburg Global Seminar. She will attend the December 8-13, 2013 session entitled Transforming Health Care from the Ground Up: Best Value for Money and for Patients. “This sixth seminar in the Salzburg Health and Health Care Series will bring together examples of cutting edge delivery science to help build the models, methods and metrics to boost value and explicitly address emerging economy perspectives.”
Dr. Capehart applied for the fellow through the Appalachian College Association (ACA). The seminar will offer an opportunity for international study and allow her to share her background of policy, pharmacy practice in a rural/urban setting and patient counseling.
