Political Science majors are encouraged to double major both within the program and with other programs in the broader University community.
All double majors must complete all requirements for both majors, with the exception that a single senior thesis is required. Students choosing a double major outside the program, and who choose to do a senior thesis or project outside of Political Science, must consult with program faculty on the nature of the outside project.
The Program expects that a senior thesis completed as part of a double major with a Program degree will engage the discipline in a meaningful way. Programmatic double majors include, but are not limited to:
- Political Science and History
- Political Science and Social Science Education
- Political Science and English
