Director of the Concentration in Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Management in the UC EMBA Program, and is an Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical & Healthcare Management at the University of Charleston School of Pharmacy. Dr. Alkhateeb earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from Jordan University of Science & Technology, Jordan. In 2007, he earned his doctorate in Pharmaceutical Marketing from the University of Iowa. Later, in 2011, he finished his MBA in Pharmaceutical Marketing & Management from Aspen University. He is considered one of few experts who specialize in the pharmaceutical e-marketing field. Dr. Alkhateeb’s research interests focus on pharmaceutical marketing, pharmacy education, and public health issues.
Dr. Alkhateeb serves as an associate editor for Pharma Scientist Journal. He has published numerous peer-reviewed papers in several pharmacy and business journals, including: American Journal of Pharmaceutical Education, Annals of Pharmacotherapy, Journal of American Pharmacists Association, Pharmacy World & Science, Health Marketing Quarterly, Journal of Medical Marketing, Research in Social & Administrative pharmacy, International Journal of Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Marketing, International Journal of Pharmacy Practice, Informatics for Health and Social Care, as well as other publications.
