The Resource Consultants at the Academic Success Center (ASC) work with students, faculty, and staff at all levels of ability and in any discipline on communication-based activities and assignments, including:
- The writing process
- Grammar
- Speech writing
- Portfolio development and revision
- Research assistance
- Tutoring in all subject areas
Consultants will also assist you at any stage of the writing process including:
- Generating ideas and topics
- Finding and documenting supporting materials
- Developing and organizing papers
- Drafting
- Revising
- Editing
- Publishing
The ASC also provides workshops or one-on-one consultations to faculty in a variety of areas, including:
- Integrating communication activities including nongraded writing activities
- Generating and composing assignments
- Evaluating, grading and assessing
- Holistic scoring
- Organizing peer groups and other collaborative activities
