CLEP Testing
Learning Support Services at the University of Charleston is an open CLEP Testing Center. CLEP tests allow students to demonstrate prior learning and earn college credit. Tests are administered on Monday and Friday mornings, 9:00–11:00 a.m. CLEP tests are administered via computers.
There is a fee levied by the College Board for each CLEP test. The College Board encourages test takers to pay this fee online by credit card at the time of the test. In addition, persons who are not full-time students at the University of Charleston must pay a fee of $15.00.

TEAS Testing
Nursing candidates for both the Associate Degree in Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Nursing programs are required to take the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) pre-nursing exam. This exam covers reading, mathematics, science, and English and language usage.
There is a fee required by ATI for each exam. This fee is paid online by credit, debit, or prepaid card on the day of testing. These computerized exams are proctored on Monday and Friday mornings at 9 A.M. Please call 304-357-4776 to schedule an exam.
