The University of Charleston Student Nurses Association (SNA)

The University of Charleston Student Nurses Association (SNA) aids students by enhancing their knowledge of the nursing profession and preparing students for their initial licensure as registered nurses.   By joining the SNA, students gain leadership skills and are encouraged to participate in activities which heighten awareness of the nursing profession and directly benefit the diverse community and student body.  The SNA strives to enrich the personal growth of its members, preparing each individual to become capable, accountable registered nurses.

The SNA is geared toward community service through on campus and off campus activities, including student health fairs, blood drives, and involvement with the Ronald McDonald House.   Members of the SNA continue to successfully organize, plan and coordinate blood drives on campus and volunteer to aid the Ronald McDonald House by collecting can tabs from the student body and organizing future events.
