Program Requirements

The Athletic Training Education Program (ATEP) consists of 129 credits, distributed among:

• 69 credits in Athletic Training
• 23 credits in Health Sciences and Allied Field course
• 37 credits in Liberal Learning Outcomes courses

Students must also complete a minimum of 990 clinical education hours that are directly supervised by an approved clinical instructor or clinical instructor upon admission to the program.

Additional Requirements

Students must meet all Liberal Learning Outcomes required for graduation by the University of Charleston.
