Peer Educators

The first year of college is very important and the University of Charleston wants to make sure each first-year student has a comfortable and rewarding transition between high school and college.

To assist in the navigation of this new and exciting change the Peer Education program was designed. Peer Educators are a highly selective group of student leaders who have taken the journey from high school to college and are willing to share their experiences and help first-year students create their own memories. Peer Educators will attend University 101/102 with first-year students, provide exciting involvement opportunities, and will keep in contact with first-year students as questions may arise.

The Peer Educators represent a variety of majors, hometowns, athletic teams, and cultures, but all share one passion — to help first-year students make a smooth transition.
