Russell's career high 30 leads Golden Eagle men to victory

Charleston 90, Davis & Elkins 74: Bahaadar Russell poured in 30 points to lead four players in double figures as the University of Charleston ended a two-game losing streak with a win at Davis & Elkins.

Jonathan Liggins added 22 points, Ronald Kinney 11 and Brandon Ross 10 for the Golden Eagles, who shot 54.7 percent from the field. UC's Ibrahim Marone chipped in eight points and 10 rebounds.

P.J. Turner turned in 24 points, six assists, four rebounds and four steals for the Senators while Tim Turner contributed 22 points, including four 3-pointers, and 10 boards. Reggie Cook had 17 points for D&E, which made just 38.9 percent of its shots in the second half.
