Admission Pathways

General Information

Three admission pathways have been developed for the University of Charleston PA Program:

"One of the reasons I choose the UC PA program was the unique grading system. The pass/fail grading system diminishes competition and helps to make our class a team. We all work together and help each other to reach our goals."
— Alyssa Janosko, Class of 2017, Gibsonia, PA

"The University of Charleston Physician Assistant Program is very challenging, but it has presented me with a highly motivated and intelligent team of classmates, an experienced and knowledgeable group of professors, as well as top notch classroom and laboratory resources which collectively ensure that I will emerge from the program as a well-trained PA ready to enter the rapidly changing world of medicine."
— Taylor Callahan, Class of 2017, Charleston, WV

"I chose UC because, compared to other programs, I felt like a person rather than a number. During the interview process and throughout school I have felt that faculty and staff are truly interested and invested in not only my education but also in me as a person. They want to see us succeed as much as we want to succeed. They realize that each one of us has our strengths and weakness and they work hard to educate us in the best possible manner for our specific needs."
— Matt Connally, Class of 2016, Thornton, CO
